The Psychic Connection Between Twins

Taking a look into the psychic connection and coincidences of twins and the puzzling connection they have to one another without knowing it.

Sometime ago I wrote about what it is really like to be an identical twin. In this article which was named “The Truth About What It’s Really Like to be an Identical Twin” I explained that most times when twins are identical, they are created from a single fertilized ovum that splits in two and share the same placenta in the uterus often sharing an almost an identical match in DNA which goes just beyond physical appearance.
People seem to be drawn to the idea that being a twin would simply be cool or fun, and though many people can assume what it is like to be one, only an identical twin can actually tell you the truth of the matter. In the article I went on to explain the pros and cons of being an identical twin. One of the upsides is that you always have a.........

Taking a look into what it is really like being born an identical twin, the good aspects and the bad.

Identical twins or Monozygtic twins by the scientific name are almost Always born of the same sex and their traits and physical appearances are very similar but not exact, although, their DNA is almost identical. The environmental conditions both in the womb and throughout identical twins lives enables and influences them to be able to switch on and off various genes.
Being born as an identical twin, people always say to me what is it like being a twin, or I wish I had a twin, would that ever be cool! These people often have the misconception.....

Pledge To Yourself

Most often times, in our need to make everyone else happy and please others, we tend to forget about the most important person, ourselves. A new quote I wrote inspired by the realization of this in my own life.

"If your unable to devote yourself to your own happiness, how can you expect anyone else to."

Thanks for reading as always and I hope you find some inspiration to take from this in your own life.

Giving Is More Worthy Than Recieving

Why do some people act like they are better than others...we are all born the same way...with nothing and we are all gonna die the same way..with nothing...With this wave of thought it sparked me to write this quote..."Life is measured by the give, not the get and got."

Friday The 13th, Unlucky Or Lucky?

In the spirit of Friday the 13, I decided to write an article taking a look into why this day is really considered a bad day. With the facts present, perhaps you will see beyond the superstitions and myths and see Friday the thirteenth in a different light, researching this thouroughly, I did!

Looking into my own life, personally, I believe Friday the 13th to be a fairly lucky day for me, although, many people do not and throughout history it has somehow become a superstitious day associated with bad luck. But why?

Why do some builders and architects still exclude the number 13 from their floors and why is it that this so call day/number.....................

The Photography Creations Of Ashley Watson

Recently I spoke of hightlighting the work of those who gave me some really good writing suggestions and I am a woman of my word. Today I will be covering the photographer Ashley Watson also known as Lotash by his followers and I for one happen to be one of them for the brilliant, creative photos this man continously comes up with.

Because Ashley takes has two different sides of photography, I am going to be adding it here as well as Artistic Visions Gardening for his floral photography and here for some of his creative works, both sides equally good and both sides continuing to get better as time progresses.

If you want a photo taken Ashley he may just be the man to take it but if you want a creative piece of photography, Ashley is 100 percent the man you want to take it! Take a look at some of this phenominal work and you will see why. All copyright on the below images belongs to Ashley Watson.

Ways To Market Your Work Online To Get More Traffic And Profits

Many new writers have been asking me for advice for quite some time and though I could quite easily write an article about this and publish it elsewhere, I decided to post it directly to my own website for a change and with any luck those who read it will find it helpful.

There are many ways to increase traffic to your site and articles, although I am  specifically speaking about articles in this case and  none of these ways involve reposting your articles on other sites such as wikinut for example, in fact, they decrease the value of the original article. People  often make the mistake in believing they will be doubling the amount they get paid on thier work by doing so, however; this is not the case. When  publishing an article and then reposting that same article a couple of days later to another site, though most don't know it, the second site will pay you very little for that already published article and, on top of that, the original then goes into a low pay scale because you published it elsewhere and your so called great article then becomes virtually dead in the water as you are then getting less traffic to both.

When looking at it this way, it  doesn't  sound quite as good as you first thought huh.It really is a no win situation when you repost your work and apart from everything else I have just mentioned, instead of taking the time to write another quality article, you  actually just wasted that time reposting the article that you will now be getting paid less for!

Places like Factoidz do not even allow you to repost articles for three days because they know it is taking away the traffic from the original article.

Regardless to say, that would be my first tip to new content writers, instead of wasting your time reposting your articles, spend it on marketing the original and writing another article. I never repost my work but I do market my work  extensively and that truly is one of the key points for any good writer, knowing how to market thier work efficiently and effectively.

An excellent place to start is with the usage of search engines, they not only increase the value of your article, they effortlessly add your article to 25 different search engines at a time! Try a search for  free web submitters, it costs you nothing but time but it is time well spent. Below I have added 4 free web submission sites that I use to make it easier for you, all I ask is that you click an add or two on my website as a thankyou to me for taking the time to write this as well as add these very useful links you should get accustomed to using.

Also Facebook, Stumble upon and Twitter are excellent ways to market your work, especially if you spend some time on there checking out others stuff, if you are not willing to give back and put the time in doing so, these networking sites, needless to say, they are a waste of time.

Two other places you can market your work are Redgage and Shetoldme which have some nice little added perks for posting your link especially RedGage. They give you a small percentage of the money they receive on ads to post your links to their site, you are also entered into a daily contest as well for 25 dollars. This is a win win because not only are you marketing your work, you are getting paid to do so and it does not take a lot of time.

Joining forums are also quite good although make sure you participate in the active conversations going on,otherwise you will get kicked out for spamming.

Now the last thing I would really like to say if you want success, market, market and market!

Ideas And Creation

Well so far from posting yesterdays piece, I have had two new ideas come my way and ideas that were very good ones if I do say so.

One was for my gardening site, Artistic Visions Gardening and another was for Mystify The Mind. One friend asked me to write about some of the gardens I designed and another was advice I had to new content writers.

Today I am going to set out to work on my gardening article, which is something that usually takes me a bit of time becuase like most things in my life, I like my writing to be perfect and I also take the time to choose the appropriate photos that go with my work. I did in fact take the time to write my article on the  advice I have for new content writers which I only have yet to edit so with any luck I will be able to post that later today and if not at the latest, tomorrow morning.

Rather than publish these articles through publishing companies such as Factoidz, Wikinut and Triond, I am going to post them directly to my sites which I hope helps my sites as I have been doing a lot to them recently including marketing.

Also another idea I came up with last night was  for the people who do make suggestions and  that have a site they would like to display, I will post the link on my website  Mystify The Mind unless of course it is gardening related which I will then post on Artistic Visions Gardening. I will do an individual post on them  as well as a  small review  within the post it if they so wish. My first will be highlighting the work of the photographer Lotash.

Thanks for reading everyone! Happy reading and writing!

Tanya.

What The Readers Want

Recently, I have been doing a lot of thinking and it involves ideas for new articles to write and though I did come up with a lot of new ideas and actually completed a few of them and began writing some more, I was hit by a brain wave or more like bolt of lightening hitting me upside the head and I thought, "Why not ask my friends and fans what they would like to read about, why not ask them what type of article they would like to see me write about!"

The brainstorm among brainstorms, now there is a challenge among challenges as a writer and what a brilliant idea if I do say so, it's not really about what I want to write about, it is more about  what others would like to see me write about  and what others would like to read so with that in mind, I am definately willing to rise to the challenge, are you?

Let me know what you would like to see, it can be anything from an article to poetry to a short story. And for Artistic Visions Gardening what type of gardening article would you like to see?

To make it easy just email me or leave a comment. My email is:

mystify@gmail.com

Cheers! I am looking forward to any and all comments.

No In Betweens

A short poem I wrote about myself and my friends and enemies, although, with any luck, hopefully I don't have any enemies but if I do this is a fitting poem..

You either love me

Or you hate me

There's no in betweens

I don't worry about what people think

I haven't since my teens

So if you hate me

I gotta say

I don't give a damn

I don't really care

But if you love me

I look forward

To  all the times

We'll share.

I am loyal to my friends

I'll always have thier back

The people who I love

Friends who bring me back on track

But to my haters

I will say again

I don't really care

Because if you hate me

Ask youself

Why the hell

Are you even here

Lock Down

This is a realistic horror about what the consquences are to crime.

You always go in one way and come out another, hardened by the criminals you do time with.

Society itself punishes you, hardens you and slaps you in with a bunch of convicts who know the rules of the game. You then become aware that you either do or die and inevitably become an  even worse criminal than what you were when you went in, straying from all pupose, leading you down the devils path of enlightment.

Perhaps you know someone like this,or have a family member like this, or even been there yourself but obviously, no one ever likes to admit it......I wrote this for my brother.

I have had quite a few responses on this poem given its subject matter,on the site itself as well as networking sites  that I submitted the link to and  some of the responses are those who served time, some of them hard time like my bro and none of the responses I got were bad so I must have did something right when concerning this poem....

Within the depths

Of an earthly hell

One that bears his name

Owned by him

Shackled and chained

Signed and sealed

In his domain

You let him in

You opened the door

But the day has come

To settle the score

The mirrored image

Reflects a hard cold beast

Signed and sealed

Your life is leased

No Difference

Two new quotes I just wrote, although they both go with the quote, Never Forget

"Rich or poor,we all came into this world the same way, with nothing and we all go out the same way, with nothing" and though, "We all strive to be different doesn't that make us all the same."

My Heart Weeps | Authspot

I wrote this poem to raise awareness about drunk driving and the pain it can cause families.Personally, I have never suffered the pain that comes from drunk driving and I hope I never have to,hence the poem. People do suffer from this in many ways and I only hope I did the poem justice. On a final note think responsibly, dont drink and drive, the suffering, sorrow and damage it can cause just because you feel like driving is not worth it!

I’m sorry for not being there for you
I’m sorry I should have done more
I’m sorry I didn’t stop you
When you walked out that door
I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I loved you
I’m sorry I didn’t say how much I cared
I’m sorry for not saying
All the things I would have shared

Learning Not To Make The Same Mistake

Recently my old phone bit the dust and though I am happy about it now because I have a far better phone as it's the new HTC Desire sense and has a million more capabilities than my last phone and I can now do some serious blogging on this blog as well on my gardening blog "Artistic Visions Gardening," unfortunately I had many new quotes, poems and even articles I wrote saved on my last phone that I cannot access any longer and stupidly I did not write them out on my computer or even paper for that matter. So admittedly,I have now learned from my mistakes and from now on,though it will take me more time,I will write everything out the old fashioned way on paper so I won't lose anything again! I do have plenty written not to be bothered too much about it but some of my best ideas come to me in the weirdest of places and it's so easy to just write a memo on my phone as it's always with me. So I guess the moral/quote today is :"Life is a learning process and one where we will make many mistakes, the important part to remember is to learn from those mistakes so you don't make the same mistake twice."

Imperfect World

Humans are imperfect so why is it that the human race not only expects perfection but strives for it as well. Even the most beautiful flower on earth will most certainly contain a flaw if you look hard enough.

Assuming Makes Ass Out Of You And Me

Never, ever judge a book by its cover because it will only end up with you decieving yourself. I could easily list numerous examples but will just name but 3. Just because a person is beautiful should not make them seem unaproachable, however, often times this is sadly the case and because of this misconcieved preception beautiful people are usually the lonliest people. Another example is, just because a person is not attractive does not mean they are going to be a nice,or having to make up for thier lack of beauty on the outside by trying to be beautiful on the inside, also not the case. I, for one, admittedly made this mistake believing this and learned the hard way, finding out that the person was not only a racist but also the nastiest piece of work I had ever met in my life! The last example is, while someone could look happy and carefree on the outside, on the inside, they could be very sad and have the weight of the world on thier shoulders. So with that in mind never make assumptions because chances are you will be wrong and end up making an ass out of yourself!

You Cannot Buy Time

It does not matter how much money you have, you cannot buy time, only the time of others. The irony in this is, time is money and money is time.

Wake Me Up

I  was  a  little  more  creative  with  this  horror poem. Hope  you  enjoy  the twist!
Sometimes you can get lost within a dream.Sometimes you may never come back….

Wake me up in a minute

I must be dreaming

Filled with desires

My heart’s deceiving

Breathing heavy

Don’t wake me up just yet

I’m enjoying this dream

Playfully entwined

He calls me his pet

Living Life and Enjoying It

Life goes on,the trick is to get up and follow it,not trying to lead it but allowing it to lead you to where you are supposed to be. Trying to lead life will usually end up badly as life has a funny way of destroying plans or things that are not supposed to happen. As the saying goes everything happens for a reason so sit back and enjoy the ride baby!

A Little Giggle

This is another piece I wrote intended for writers, although,it can relate to everyone and everything in a humorous way.Today decided to add some of my jokes along with my quotes because as they say, laughter is the best medicine. And though I am quite sure that everyone could find it this quote-joke funny, this particular joke is for writers so it is easier for writers to understand the actual humor behind it.Hope you enjoy................I just wanted everyone to know that I am really an angel in disguise. While in heaven, I decided to give it a go at being a human for a while because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, although, admittedly, before I did come to this decision, I told God I wanted to write a book and he told me that if I did, only humans would be stupid enough to read it. So here I am...writing my book...I sure hope he was right!

Flow and Push

This quote is intended for writers, both proffessional and amatuer........ When writing,it is better to be pulled by the words than have to push them, although, when editing, because words are like placing pieces of a puzzle together, sometimes they have to be pushed to be properly placed.

About Positive Notions

Today I did a triple series of quotes named, Positive Notions. I added them together because I believe they all coincide with one another and at the time of writing them, they all came together consecutively, one after another so I knew I could not seperate them.As always, I hope you enjoy and perhaps find some kind of inspiration from the ramblings stumbling around in my mind. Also, I want to thank all my readers and fans of my work, it is you that gives me the incentive to keep writing! X Tanya

Positive Notions

Positivity breeds positivity.Negativity breeds negativity. If you live your life in negativity, chances are you will have a negative life.If you live your life in positivity, chances are you will eventually come to find happiness.

Positive Notions

Rather than spending your life dwelling on your regrets, spend it on making some positive moments to dwell on. Remember, if not for your mistakes, you would not be who you are now and mistakes are infact what makes you a better person so why regret them?

Positive Notions

Rather than spending your life dwelling on the things you could have done, spend it on actually doing them. The only person stopping you, is you!

Todays quote as promised: Never Forget

Never forget where you have come from, it will not only humble you, it will make you a better person...

Forgotten But Not Lost

Sometimes I find myself having one of those moments where I think how could I actually forget something like that only to realize that perhaps it was a good thing.Yesterday while trying to promote this website or rather my new collection of quotes, one of my friends,Cathy, said how much she loved a story I wrote so I suggested another story to her but while trying to find the link I discovered I had not even published this story, infact, upon looking a little closer, I realized that there was at least 30 things I had sitting in my drafts that I had somehow forgotten to publish, from articles to poetry! So thanks to Cathy, I will also try to post one of these a day on top of my quotes from my new collection. Cheers Cathy! Also I would like to take the time to thank 2 friends, Cathy and Carmen, for taking the time to check out my website and my work!

The first quote in my new collection of quotes, rants and raves: Take the credit, lay the blame.

While taking some time off to rewrite my novel,I have found myself writing many new quotes which I now intend to post on a daily basis. And while some of these quotes may be nothing more than rants and raves, if you take the time to contemplate them, you will find they are relevant and hold true. As always I hope you enjoy. I have written so many of them, I am not sure as to which one I should add first so I am just going to go with the flow and see where it takes me......................... No matter what aspect you look at in life,it is funny how when things go right everyone is always quick to take the credit but when things go wrong we are even quicker to lay the blame...
